Porthaven Care Homes operate 21 care homes across the UK. Given the nature of their work in caring for and supporting their senior residents, high standards of safety and hygiene are critical.

The care homes sector is also highly regulated and requires all operators to adhere to minimum standards, but for Porthaven it was critical that all facilities were absolutely first rate. They required a partner to support them with maintaining their premises to the highest standard and ensuring that each of them were statutory compliant and therefore approached Statutory Support Services (‘SSS’).

SSS has been working with Porthaven since 2020 and has supported the group as it has expanded, now providing a discreet and effective service across all of the group’s care homes. SSS ensures that safety and hygiene standards and statutory compliance are maintained across the group.

Planned and reactive maintenance is implemented for each of the national operational sites, including Lighting, Plumbing, Air Conditioning, Water Services and Gas Safety.
