Watertite Building Services joins the andwis. Group

The andwis. group extends expertise and regional coverage with the addition of Watertite Building Services and Bullet Lift and Training Services

The andwis. group has transformed from an M&E foundation 12 months ago into 5 service lines today, including lift maintenance, entrance and access technology, HVAC and fire and security. These service lines are strengthened through three further investments in Watertite Heating Limited, Bullet Lift Services Ltd and Bullet Training Services Limited (“Bullet”) to complete a successful year of development for the group.

Founded in 1987, Watertite offers M&E, HVAC and renewables services in the South West. Watertite joins the andwis. M&E division alongside CPS Building Services Ltd based in East Anglia. Liam Connelly will lead the andwis M&E division and Jon Wintersgill, as part of his retirement planning, will hand over the Watertite MD role to Will Scott, supported by existing Watertite Directors Julian Newbury and Mike Dennett.

Jon Wintersgill, retiring Managing Director of Watertite, said “this is a fantastic new chapter for Watertite and testament to the team’s commitment to our clients and building the business. Together with andwis, our joint vision will create a unique range of essential building services and expertise that will benefit our clients.”

Founded in 2003, Bullet will join Classic Lifts to further strengthen our presence across the West Midlands for lift maintenance, repair and modernisation services. Bullet’s focus on training, recruitment and accreditation aligns with andwis. Group’s focus on upskilling its workforce and will be the foundation for the “andwis academy” in 2024.

Jenny Larkin, continuing as Managing Director of Bullet , said “we are delighted to be joining andwis. Bullet has thrived through the team’s collective focus on our clients through service excellence. Going forward, we have a great opportunity to accelerate our development and client impact as part of the andwis. group.”

Jonathan Simpson-Dent, Chair of the andwis. group, said: “Watertite and Bullet have both built unparalleled reputations in their respective sectors and markets by delivering consistently high quality services and accreditation assurance for their clients. Both teams embody our andwis. guiding principles of integrity, dynamism and partnership, making them great additions to the group as we continue to build a truly unique multi-service offering delivered through direct best-in-class networks.”

In 2024 andwis. will continue to invest in other industry-leading businesses as it broadens its service line and geographic presence across the technical services landscape under its commitment of Expertise, built in. In addition, the group is investing in technology, training, development and skills across its direct network of experts.

The andwis. group looks forward to providing further updates on its progress to become the UK’s leading benchmark for technical building services.
